Grout Color Seal Care

What to Expect

HydroShield-protected grout color seal is not self-cleaning. HydroShield-treated grout can be up to 75% easier to clean because dirt and grime remain at the protected surface rather than becoming as difficult to remove. Proper routine maintenance helps keep your color-sealed grout looking its best.

Easy-to-Clean Grout Color Seal

Before cleaning your color-sealed grout, vacuum or remove loose dirt and debris. Apply an appropriate neutral-pH cleaner using a sponge or mop and allow the cleaner to remain on the surface for several minutes to help loosen dirt and oils.

Avoid scrubbing the color-sealed grout. After allowing the cleaner time to work, use a clean mop or towel to wipe the surface. Be sure to remove remaining moisture, dirt, and residue from the grout lines as part of the cleaning process.

For best results and compatibility with your HydroShield protection, we recommend HydroShield Neutral pH Cleaner.

Customers may purchase cleaner directly from HydroShield of Tampa Bay or order through the HydroShield online store. Purchasing locally may help you avoid shipping costs.

Protecting Your Color-Sealed Grout
