Shower Glass Care

What to Expect

HydroShield-protected glass is not self-cleaning. HydroShield-treated glass can be up to 75% easier to clean because contaminants remain at the protected surface rather than becoming as difficult to remove. HydroShield helps maintain the natural beauty, clarity, and luster of your glass while making routine maintenance easier.

Easy-to-Clean Glass

For routine cleaning, use a clean cotton or microfiber towel to wipe the glass. When additional cleaning is needed, warm water or an appropriate alcohol-based glass cleaner may be used.

If mineral deposits begin to accumulate, a white non-scratch scrub pad may be used as needed. For best results and compatibility with your HydroShield protection, we recommend HydroShield All Purpose Glass Cleaner. Customers may purchase cleaner directly from HydroShield of Tampa Bay or order through the HydroShield online store. Purchasing locally may help you avoid shipping costs.

Regular maintenance will help prevent mineral deposits, soap residue, and other buildup from becoming more difficult to remove.

Choosing the Right Cleaning Products

HydroShield-protected glass does not require harsh or acidic cleaners for routine maintenance. Always read cleaning-product labels before use and avoid products containing acids or other ingredients that are not recommended for HydroShield-protected surfaces. Using incompatible cleaning products may affect the protection or applicable warranty coverage.

When in doubt about a cleaning product, contact HydroShield of Tampa Bay before using it on your protected glass.
