Grout Clear Seal Care

What to Expect

HydroShield-protected grout is not self-cleaning. HydroShield-treated grout can be up to 75% easier to clean because dirt and grime remain at the protected surface rather than becoming as difficult to remove. Proper routine maintenance helps keep your clear-sealed grout looking its best.

Easy-to-Clean Grout

For grout on floors, vacuum or remove loose dirt and debris as needed. Caked-on dirt may be gently agitated with a soft-bristle brush before vacuuming. When additional cleaning is needed, use a damp sponge, mop, or towel with an appropriate neutral-pH cleaner.

For grout in shower surrounds, apply an appropriate neutral-pH cleaner and wipe the surface clean. For stubborn buildup, a white non-scratch scrub pad may be used as needed.

For best results and compatibility with your HydroShield protection, we recommend HydroShield Neutral pH Cleaner.

Customers may purchase cleaner directly from HydroShield of Tampa Bay or order through the HydroShield online store. Purchasing locally may help you avoid shipping costs.

Protecting Your Clear-Sealed Grout

Use appropriate neutral-pH cleaning products for routine maintenance and avoid harsh, acidic, or abrasive cleaners unless specifically recommended for your HydroShield-protected grout. If you're unsure whether a cleaning product is appropriate, contact HydroShield of Tampa Bay before using it.
